Michter's – Celebration Batch 3 Sour Mash Whiskey (75cl)

Michter's Celebration is an American sour mash whiskey from Michter's Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, and this is Batch 3, in a 750ml bottle. It is released only when Master Distiller Dan McKee and Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson jointly agree that the aged stocks are ready, and there is no fixed release schedule. Like the earlier batches, it draws on whiskey aged across several decades. The stocks, proof and character of Batch 3 differ from those of Batches 1 and 2. The nose is complex and rich. The palate is silky, with caramel, dried fruit, aged oak and warm spice, and the finish is very long.
