Michter's Single Barrel 10 Year Old Bourbon 2015 Barrel 15J849 (75cl)

This is a 10-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Michter's, drawn from a single barrel, number 15J849, and carrying the 2015 vintage. It comes in a 750ml bottle. Michter's releases its 10 Year Old only when the Master Distiller and Master of Maturation judge that the available barrels have peaked, so it does not appear every year. In the glass it is a rich amber with golden highlights. The nose offers deep caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and warm baking spice. The palate is full-bodied, with toffee, dried fruit, oak tannins and a warm grain sweetness. The finish is long and clean, with caramel, vanilla and spice tapering to a warm, dry close.
