Michter's 10 Year Old Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon, and this is the 2018 vintage, in a 75cl bottle. It is made from barrels approved that year, each bottled individually.
Michter's releases the 10 Year only when its Master Distiller and Master of Maturation judge the available barrels ready, so some years pass with no release.
The nose is deep caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and baking spice. The palate is full-bodied and layered, with toffee, dried fruit, oak and a warm grain sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with caramel and spice.
