Michter's Small Batch Bourbon takes its name from a former distillery once regarded as the oldest in the United States. It is bottled at 45.7% ABV.
The bourbon is sweet, fruity and spicy. The nose brings barley sugar, raisins and dried fruit, with fennel seed and fresh bread. The palate is rich and spicy, with juicy fruit and cinnamon, and a finish that opens with black pepper before the dried fruit returns.
