Michter's – US*1 Small Batch American Whiskey

This is Michter's US*1 Small Batch American Whiskey. It is not matured in new casks, so it cannot be called bourbon. Instead it rests in used casks that have taken up plenty of flavour, which they pass on to the young whisky. Caramel and corn dominate, together with vanilla and notes of apricot that keep the sweetness in check.
