Midleton – Barry Crockett Legacy (75cl, 46%)

Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy is an Irish whiskey that blends single pot still and grain whiskeys, matured in American oak bourbon barrels at the Midleton Distillery in County Cork. It is bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle. The expression is named for Barry Crockett, Master Distiller at Midleton for over four decades, and was created as a permanent tribute to his palate and production philosophy. American oak bourbon barrels were his preferred cask type, and they are used for the main maturation of both components. The nose offers toffee, dried fruit, caramelised ginger, fresh oak and vanilla. On the palate come spicy toffee, toffee apple, vanilla bean and pot still spice, and the finish is long and warming.
