Midleton – Method & Madness Single Malt Irish Whiskey (46%)

Method & Madness Single Malt is an Irish single malt made at Midleton Distillery in County Cork from malted barley alone. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered and naturally coloured. The whiskey is first matured in American bourbon barrels, then finished in French Limousin oak casks. The nose opens with freshly shelled peanut and cereal malt, alongside delicate floral notes and a little orchard fruit. The palate starts with cracked cinnamon stick and ice-cream wafer sweetness, then turns to dry barley biscuit and gentle spice. The finish is lingering, with bon-bons, toasted barley and a refined dryness.
