Midleton – Very Rare 1996 Edition (70cl)

Midleton Very Rare 1996 Edition is the 1996 release of an annual Irish whiskey series that began in 1984, in a 70cl bottle. It is a blend of single pot still whiskeys from the Midleton storehouse, made up of whiskeys between 12 and 25 years old and put together under master distiller Barry Crockett. The bottle is signed by Barry Crockett and individually numbered, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It is the only regular expression to carry the Midleton name. The nose combines warming spices and zesty fruit with pear, red apple, salted caramel, honeycomb, vanilla and coffee. Baked orchard fruits and floral honey lead the palate, and the finish stays balanced.
