Midleton Very Rare 2026 is a blend of single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys, made at Midleton Distillery in County Cork. The series began with its first release in 1984, and each year's edition is composed anew.
The whiskeys were matured in seasoned American oak casks and hand-selected by the Master Distiller. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, individually numbered.
Citrus peel, apricot and crème brûlée lead the nose. The palate has vanilla, cinnamon, ginger and toffee over a creamy pot still texture, and the long finish carries fruit, spice and oak.
