Midleton Very Rare 200th Anniversary Edition is a 28 year old single pot still Irish whiskey, released to mark two centuries of Midleton. It is bottled at 54.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and 636 bottles were produced.
Master Distiller Kevin O'Gorman chose five casks for the release, which brings Japanese Mizunara oak into the Midleton Very Rare range for the first time.
It is described as layered, with sandalwood, fresh wood spices and tropical fruits alongside the pot still character.
