Midleton Very Rare Barry Crockett Legacy is a single pot still Irish whiskey from the Midleton Distillery, in a 700ml bottle. It was created in honour of Barry Crockett, Master Distiller Emeritus.
The whiskey is matured mainly in first fill ex-bourbon barrels and comes in a wooden display case.
The nose shows bright citrus, ripe pear, vanilla cream and subtle toasted oak. The palate brings honeyed fruit, delicate spice, creamy malt and light floral notes, and the finish is long and silky, with gentle oak and lingering sweetness.
