Midleton – Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Knockrath Forest Tree No 7

This is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Midleton, the first batch in the Dair Ghaelach Knockrath Forest range and the latest chapter in the Dair Ghaelach story. It was matured first in American oak Bourbon barrels, then finished in virgin native Irish oak hogsheads. The oak was grown on the Knockrath Estate, and each cask can be traced to one of six individual oak trees, each around 130 years old. This bottle comes from tree 7.
