Midleton Very Rare Irish Whiskey 2024 Vintage Release (70cl, 40%)

This is the 2024 vintage of Midleton Very Rare, an Irish whiskey blended by Master Distiller Kevin O'Gorman. He chose the grain and pot still whiskeys and handpicked the casks. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. O'Gorman has been part of the Midleton team since 1998 and follows Barry Crockett and Brian Nation as master distiller. The nose brings apricot, hay, floral honey and creamy fudge, followed by pear drops and clove. On the palate there are baking spices, toasted oak and tropical fruit with vanilla and toffee apple. The finish is long, creamy and floral.
