This is a 16 year old single cask Island single malt from an undisclosed distillery in Kirkwall, part of the Unicorn Series. It was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2026 at a natural cask strength of 61.7% ABV, without chill-filtration, yielding 274 bottles.
The whisky matured in a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead. The label shows unicorns visiting Skara Brae, the Neolithic settlement on Orkney.
It is described with Orkney character of heather honey, gentle smoke and maritime influence, alongside dried fruits, chocolate and warming spice.
