This is a 10-year-old single barrel bourbon, matured in new charred American oak and bottled without chill filtration at 59.57% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Nashville Barrel Company, an independent bottler, selects the cask, and the whiskey comes from MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
The mashbill is documented as 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. Each barrel is bottled at its own strength, so the proof differs slightly from one barrel to the next.
Dark caramel, toasted oak and baking spice lead the nose, with dried cherry and roasted walnut. The palate is rich with honey, caramel, vanilla pudding and dark stone fruit. The finish is long and warming, with chocolate and candied orange peel.
