Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky (70cl, 45%)

Nikka Coffey Grain is a Japanese grain whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 45% and supplied in a box. It is made mainly from corn in one of Nikka's continuous Coffey stills. It is a wider release than the rare, limited bottlings Nikka has made before, intended to show this key part of the Nikka family of whiskies. The nose is bourbon-like vanilla and corn with a herbal hint of chamomile. The palate is sweet and fruity, with melon, grapefruit and thick syrup, balanced by crunchy biscuit and fresh vanilla. Sweet, vibrant corn lasts through the finish.
