Nikka Miyagikyo 12 Year Old is a Japanese single malt in a 70cl bottle at 45% ABV. It was previously known as Sendai and is aged in sherry casks, which add body and complexity.
The colour is a strong amber. The nose is full and tight, with roasted coffee and pecan, moving to floral aromas and oriental spices. The palate is rich and sherried, with chocolate and coffee and a hint of saltiness. The finish is long and warm.
