Nikka Miyagikyo Fruity & Rich Single Malt Japanese Whisky (50cl, 55%)

This is a Japanese single malt from Nikka's Miyagikyo distillery, bottled at 55% ABV in a 50cl bottle. Miyagikyo is Nikka's second distillery, opened in Sendai in 1969. Its surroundings differ from those of Yoichi, and the stills are heated with steam rather than coal. The result is a malt with a different character from Yoichi's, known for being mild and fruity beside that distillery's more powerful style. This bottling leans further towards fruit and richness.
