Nikka Miyagikyo is a Japanese single malt without an age statement, distilled and matured at the Nikka Sendai Miyagikyo distillery. It is bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle and is described as soft, fruity and spicy, well suited as an aperitif.
The colour is old gold. The nose is floral, moving to blond tobacco, soft spices, leather and beeswax, with a touch of salt. The palate is firm and unctuous, with cocoa powder, almonds and cashew nuts, then pepper and mineral notes. The finish is long, with dried grass, sunflower and exotic fruit.
