Nikka Taketsuru 17 Year Old is a Japanese pure malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43%. It is a blend of malt whiskies from Miyagikyo and Yoichi, made in the spirit of Nikka's founder, Masataka Taketsuru. The nose brings ripe fruit, dried apricots, light smoke, honey and soft oak. The palate is creamy and full, with caramel, vanilla, malt, a light sherry influence and subtle spices. The finish is long and sweetly warm, with a woody note.
