Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt is a blend of malt whiskies from the Japanese distilleries of Yoichi and Miyagikyo. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is matured in different types of oak barrels and has an intense amber colour. The nose shows sherry, grapes and green apple, with slight hints of black pepper. The palate is elegant and balanced, with white chocolate and tobacco leaf, closing on a finish of smoke and coffee.
