Nikka The Nikka Tailored

The Nikka Tailored is a Japanese blended whisky from Nikka. It brings together malt whisky from Miyagikyo and Yoichi with a small amount of Coffey still grain whisky, and the malt makes up the larger share of the blend, which is unusual for a blend. The pot-distilled malts give it structure, while the corn-based Coffey grain whisky adds a smooth, rounded texture. Maturation took place in ex-American oak and ex-sherry casks. It is typically described as soft and balanced, with sweet fruit, gentle spice and a subtle bitterness.
