Yoichi Single Malt is a Japanese single malt from Nikka, made on the coast of Hokkaido in the north of Japan. It is distilled in pot stills fired directly by coal, and is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It is chill-filtered and has added colour.
The nose is full and soft, with peat, sea notes, candied lemon, ginger and flowers. The palate is robust, with peat, melon, kiwi and salt. The finish is long and silky, with pear, plum, ripe apple, coriander, dill, salt and smoke.
