Nulu Reserve Bourbon (75cl, 50.5%)

Nulu Reserve is a small-batch bourbon bottled at barrel proof, without chill filtration, in a 75cl bottle. The whiskey is MGP distillate from Indiana, selected and blended by Prohibition Craft Spirits in Louisville, Kentucky. The mashbill is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley, and the whiskey is aged for four to six years before bottling. The name comes from NuLu, the New Louisville neighbourhood. Oak, rye spice and cinnamon lead the nose, with brown sugar and vanilla following. The palate is creamy with vanilla and cinnamon before black pepper and corn sweetness arrive. The finish is medium, with baking spices and a gentle warmth that builds.
