Octomore Edition 13.2 is a five-year-old, heavily peated single malt from Islay, bottled at 58.3% ABV.
It is made from Scottish Concerto barley and peated to 137.3 ppm. Maturation took place in Spanish ex-Oloroso sherry casks from Bodega Fernando de Castilla, which had held solera sherry for a long time beforehand.
The character is maritime, with pronounced peat smoke, sherry cask spice, dark fruit and a dense structure.
