Old Fitzgerald 14 Year Old Bottled in Bond (75cl, 50%)

Old Fitzgerald 14 Year Bottled-in-Bond is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon, made at Bernheim Distillery in Louisville and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV) in a 75cl bottle. It belongs to the Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond decanter series, released each spring and autumn by Heaven Hill. The decanter is inspired by the original 1950s Old Fitzgerald diamond design. The Old Fitzgerald name was first registered in 1884, and its wheat mash bill, rather than the more common rye, gives a softer, sweeter character. The nose offers caramel, vanilla and oak. On the palate come sweet toffee, spice and toasted nuts, and the finish is long and warm with honey and spice.
