Old Fitzgerald – Very Special 12 Year Old 75cl is a whisky from Old Fitzgerald (Kentucky, USA). Aged 12 years, bottled at 45% ABV, 75cl. Old Fitzgerald has a long history of high quality Bourbon releases with the brand being registered in 1884 by S. C. Herbst. It was eventually bought by the famous Julian P. “Pappy” Van Winkle during the Prohibition era in the 1920s. After moving production of Old Fitzgerald to his distillery, Pappy developed it into the first great Wheated Bourbon. In the late 1990s, Heaven Hill purchased the brand and began distilling it in Louisville at the Bernheim Distillery.
