This is a 12 year old Glenallachie single malt from Speyside, bottled by Douglas Laing in its Old Particular range at 48.4% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was distilled in 2012. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose brings ripe peach, honey and vanilla, with a little almond and gentle spice. On the palate there is yellow fruit, caramel and a creamy maltiness, with light spice and a fine oak structure. The finish is long and warming, with sweet spice, a hint of nuttiness and soft oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
