Omar Bourbon Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

This is a Taiwanese single malt from Omar, matured in American bourbon casks for more than four years and bottled by hand at cask strength, 46%, in a 70cl bottle. It is bottled without added colouring or chill-filtration. It is presented as the representative whisky of Nantou Distillery and as a model of ex-bourbon cask whisky in Taiwan. The colour is deep golden. The nose combines yellow flowers, honey, butter, citrus and dried longan, with a scent of joss stick and angelica. The palate moves from sweetness to bitterness and back to sweetness, and the finish is long, with butter and citrus.
