Omar – Oloroso Sherry Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 57.5%)

This is a single malt from Omar in Taiwan, matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks for at least four years and bottled by hand at cask strength, 57.5%, in a 70cl bottle. A small number of casks were chosen by a panel of tasters, and each cask differs in style and aroma. The whisky keeps its natural colour and is not chill filtered. The nose offers golden syrup, gingerbread and orange peel with blossom. On the palate there is pronounced sherry and dried fruit, and the finish is smooth, warm and dry.
