Omar – Orange Brandy Barrel Finish Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 56%)

This is a cask strength Taiwanese single malt from Omar, bottled at 56% ABV in a 70cl bottle. After maturation the whisky is finished in orange brandy barrels, a cask finishing technique that shapes its aroma and flavour. The colour is bright golden yellow. The nose offers chamomile and jasmine in full bloom, with orange peel and sweet hints of nectar and butter. The palate has a rich body and a citrus-led flavour, and the finish is long and fruity, with an orangey aroma running through it.
