Omar Peated Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Omar Peated is a single malt whisky distilled and bottled at the Nantou Distillery in Taiwan, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It is a yellow gold colour, like honey. Its aroma is described in three layers: a light top note of flowers and vanilla, a middle of roasted sweet potato, cream and citrus, and a base of smoke, popcorn and longan wood. On tasting it brings flowers, tangerine and fresh grass on the nose, honey with roasted sugar cane on the palate, and a long, creamy, fruity finish with peat.
