Omar – Peated Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Omar Peated Single Malt is a Taiwanese whisky from Nantou, in a 70cl bottle at 46%. It is yellow gold, the colour of honey. The whisky is described in three layers. The top is light, with flowers and vanilla. The middle brings roasted sweet potato, cream and citrus. The bottom is smoky, with popcorn and longan wood. Peat arrives straight away on the palate, with a touch of cream, wood-roasted sugar cane and roasted malt. The nose is typically noted for flowers, tangerine and fresh grass, and the finish is long, creamy and fruity with peat.
