Omar Sherry Single Malt Whisky Nantou Distillery (70cl, 46%)

Omar Sherry is a single malt whisky distilled and bottled in Taiwan at Nantou Distillery. It matured for at least four years in Spanish sherry casks and was bottled by hand at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The colour is natural and the whisky is not chill-filtered. Only a few casks were approved by the panel of qualified tasters, and each cask differs in style and aroma. The whisky has a deep amber colour. The nose offers orangeade, toffee, smoked plum, brown sugar cake, raisin and cedar. The palate is syrupy, rich and strong. The finish brings blackberry jam and resin, with a long aftertaste.
