Omar Sherry Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

This is a Taiwanese single malt from Omar, matured for at least four years in Spanish sherry casks and bottled by hand at cask strength, 46%, in a 70cl bottle. Only a few casks were approved for it, and each differs in style and aroma. The natural colour is kept, a deep amber, and no chill-filtration is applied. The nose offers orangeade, toffee, smoked plum, brown sugar cake, raisin and cedar. The palate is syrupy, rich and strong. The finish brings blackberry jam and resin, with a long aftertaste.
