Omar Virgin Oak Cask Strength is a Taiwanese single malt, bottled at 58% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit was matured in new American white oak in Taiwan's warm, humid climate, which gives it a bright copper-gold colour and pronounced woody, spicy character, with white pepper, saffron and cinnamon.
The nose is spicy, with caramel, vanilla and smooth butter. The palate is full-bodied, with clear, elegant tannin, vanilla, fruit and a buttery note. The finish is woody, rich and sweet, with aromatic fruit and spice.
