Orkney 8 Year Old, Claxton's Exploration Series 3rd Release (70cl, 50%)

This is an eight-year-old single malt from a distillery on Orkney, bottled by Claxton's at 50%. It comes from the third release of the Exploration Series. Bottles in this series use a standard round shape rather than the flat bottle Claxton's normally uses. Under the foil of each bottle sits a gold pole, part of a scheme in which five collected tokens, sent back to Claxton's, give access to an exclusive Claxton's bottling.
