Parker's Heritage Collection 2nd Edition is a 27 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from the Heaven Hill Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, bottled at 48% ABV (96 proof) and dated 2008.
It comes from Heaven Hill's high-rye mash bill, and Parker Beam selected the 27 year old barrels used for this edition.
The nose combines dried fruit, aged leather, caramel and deep oak. The palate is silky and concentrated, and the finish is very long.
