Paul John Classic Select Cask is an unpeated single malt made by John Distilleries in Goa, India. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration.
The nose is big and meaty, with stewed apples and pears, freshly baked sponge cake, golden barley and a pinch of salt. On the palate there is plenty of honey, with cinnamon, cracked black pepper, and glimpses of fruit and dark chocolate. The finish brings juicy fruit and a hint of oak.
