A peated Indian single malt from John Distilleries in Goa, bottled at a cask strength of 55.5% in a 750ml bottle. It is non-chill-filtered.
The barley is grown in India, while the peat is brought in from Scotland. The whisky matures in ex-bourbon American white oak casks.
On the nose, peat smoke leads, with ginger, cinnamon and clove. The palate is full-bodied and smoky, with muscovado and demerara sugar and a little cocoa. The finish is long and warming, with bittersweet cocoa and orange marmalade.
