Peerless Small Batch Kentucky Bourbon (75cl, 53.5%)

This is a four-year-old Kentucky bourbon from Kentucky Peerless in Louisville, bottled at barrel strength of 107 proof in a 75cl bottle. It is made by the sweet-mash method rather than the more usual sour mash, and it is non-chill filtered. That gives a full-bodied, robust bourbon that stays smooth. On the palate it is described as showing caramel, vanilla and oak.
