Penderyn – 21 2005/2026 2nd Fill Bourbon Cask

This is a 21-year-old Penderyn from Wales, distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2026. It matured in a second fill bourbon cask. The long maturation adds depth while the fruit-led style of the distillery stays clear. The nose is delicate and expressive, with tropical and orchard fruit, vanilla and honey. On the palate it is smooth and balanced, opening with lively fruit before soft oak, vanilla, light spice and a hint of herbs. The finish is round and gently dry, with lasting fruit and subtle oak.
