Penderyn Legend is a Welsh single malt matured in bourbon casks and finished in Madeira casks. It belongs to the Dragon Range, which Penderyn introduced in 2015 and named after the red dragon on the Welsh flag. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose brings fresh apple and citrus fruit together with creamy fudge and sultanas. The palate is soft and delicate, with fresh and dried fruit alongside the sweetness and a touch of bitterness. The long finish keeps the sultanas and a pastry note reminiscent of Madeira cake.
