Penderyn – Peated Finish (70cl, 46%)

Penderyn Peated Finish is a Welsh single malt from the Penderyn Distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The whisky matures in bourbon casks and is then finished in casks that previously held heavily peated Scotch whisky, which gives it a strongly smoky character. On the nose the smoke is strong, with gentle sweet notes alongside. The palate is smoky and velvety, with a full body, and the finish is long and smoky with a subtle sweetness.
