This is a Welsh peated single malt from Penderyn distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks, and the peat is woven into the distillate with malt, vanilla and light spice rather than dominating it. The nose has soft smoke, vanilla, fresh malt and light citrus. The palate is balanced, with peat smoke, honey, grain and subtle spice. The finish is medium to long, dry and slightly smoky.
