A Welsh single malt from Penderyn, finished in ex-port casks and bottled at 46% without chill-filtration or added colour. The finish gives it a full-bodied character, with cask-led fruit, dark chocolate, nutty roasted notes and oak. It belongs to Penderyn's Gold Range.
The nose has rich dried fruit, dark chocolate and cranberry, with a hint of toasted oak and a dry, baked nut note. The palate is rich and creamy, with honey and gentle spice. The finish is soft and smooth, leaving gentle oak and honey sweetness.
