This is Penderyn Portwood, a single malt Welsh whisky in a 70cl bottle, in the older label design.
The nose is rich with dried fruits, dark chocolate and cranberries, along with a hint of toasty oak and a baked, nutty dryness. On the palate it is creamy and rich, with honey and spiced notes emerging.
The finish is smooth, with soft oak and honey sweetness lingering gently.
