Penderyn – Rich Oak Finish (70cl, 46%)

Penderyn Rich Oak Finish is a Welsh single malt from Penderyn Distillery in the Brecon Beacons, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no colour added. The spirit is distilled in the distillery's Faraday still, a copper pot with a column of perforated plates fitted above it. It then matures in rejuvenated European ex-wine casks, which add dark, sweet and spicy notes to the fruit of the new make. On the nose there are dark chocolate, toffee, black pepper and cinnamon, with mango, banana and green apple behind.
