Pogues Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Pogues Triple Distilled is an Irish whiskey blending malt and grain whiskeys, produced in small batches and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was created by master whiskey maker Frank McHardy at the most exposed and southerly distillery on the Atlantic, where conditions suit the maturation of Irish whiskey. It has been a San Francisco gold award winner three years running. The nose brings malt, roasted almonds, spice and dark chocolate. On the palate come citrus, spice, cracked pepper and dark fruit, with a hint of sweetness, followed by a balanced, rounded and long-lasting finish.
