Port Askaig Sherry Cask Quarter is an Islay single malt made for the German market, in a small batch of 1,000 bottles. The whisky matured on the north coast of Islay until April 2022 and combines three American oak hogsheads with one sherry hogshead. The sherry cask adds a fruity side to the peaty, maritime spirit. It is bottled at a cask strength of 57.1% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
It is described as rich in fruit and spice, balanced by peat and tarred rope.
